Shelter Building

The patrol is issued an assortment of supplies possibly including tarps, ponchos, sheet plastic, twine, rope, spars, etc. They get five minutes to study their equipment. Then, using what they have been given they construct a shelter that will hold the entire Patrol. When in the shelter no Scout may be in contact with the shelter structure. It must be free standing. If the weather allows, the shelter will be tested at the end by dumping a bucket of water on top. There is a one minute penalty for each Scout who gets any identifiable wetness. This is a timed event. Lowest time wins.
