Ways to Volunteer
Registrar
The Registrar is in charge of re-chartering the crew and collecting dues. You will be busy at re-chartering time in December re-registering people who are continuing with the crew.
Pancake Breakfast
As part of Scout Sunday, the crew does a pancake breakfast to help members raise funds for Super Trip. We need someone to take charge of this important fund raiser. There is a binder with everything you need to know and, of course, the youth should help.
Treasurer Mentor
Work closely with Crew Treasurer as a mentor. Also, make deposits for funds received. This job requires that you be registered and take Venturing Youth Protection training (online).
Service Projects
“Many hands make light work”. Parents are welcome to participate in service projects. You are especially encouraged to help out at Church Work Days, which benefit our sponsor, and help place flags at Skylawn Cemetary for Memorial Day.
Associate Advisor
If you love the great outdoors, this is the job for you. This is the position that will have you coming on outings, training members, and acting as part of the adult leadership of the crew. This job requires that you be registered and take Venturing Youth Protection training (online).
