The crew worked hard to set up a garage sale at the Congregational Church of the Peninsula. There was a variety of the items being sold contributed by members of the crew such with some of the most notable being a kayak, a drone, and popcorn popper. To prepare, the crew created artistic signs to grab the attention of passing drivers, with some of us even going down to the intersection at Ralston Avenue to hold up our signs and advertise our sale. We also made delicious lemonade to offer to anyone who would look at our sale. After the sale, we went to Coyote Cafe to have lunch before leaving. All in all, it was a successful sale that helped gain funding for this year’s supertrip to Iceland.
