CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) is a volunteer program that helps with disaster response, and in this instance Venture Crew 27 had the opportunity to be a part of the team that trains the team. The part we did was helping with the training of triage, or assessing the order in which to help people, as a \u201cvictim\u201d.\u00a0 All the \u201cvictims\u201d were assigned a specific injury and got appropriate moulage to match, then spent the rest of the day acting out the injury for the CERT team members to assess. It was truly an interesting experience.<\/p>\n
